Studio Eva Prats ‘Building Communities’, ETH Zürich
In a workshop led by Flores & Prats collaborator Jonny Pugh, students were tasked to produce a short film that synthesizes process material to explain their project.
The medium of film had a strong capacity to work with the aspirations of the studio by exploring the quality of time both in terms of the evolution of the projects as they interweave with the as-found at an urban scale, but also in the daily interactions of neighbours at intermediate space and domestic intimacy.

Students of autumn semester (HS20) and spring semester 2021 (FS21) looked at the rehabilitation of a discontinuous urban fabric in the areas of Neugasse and Kreis 4 in Zurich.
Students of spring semester 2020 (FS20) looked at recovering the built and social fabric within a fragmented area of Barcelona, the Vallcarca district.
