The plot occupies the current limits of the old town city, oriented to the crops.
The project consists of two parallel blocks of 16 houses each. The houses are organized around an interior courtyard whereby cross ventilation and lighting are achieved in all habitats.

Insisting on the horizontality of the blocks, which were anchored to the part of the highest ground and near the old quarter, was key to the proposal.

Thus, the horizontal joint of very thick mortar, of 2.5cm, the finish corbel and the slabs of the balconies help to mark these lines and unify the volumes.
The proximity of the old quarter, with its single-family houses of about 5 meters of façade and this new 58-meter building, made us decide to divide the façade into smaller units, causing a game of two parallel planes that simultaneously help indicate the entries.

Our intention was that this new building was added to neighboring housing units. Thus, the selection of the brick unit with a thickness of 9 cm and the cuts in the facade in smaller pieces, responds to the intention of giving a change of scale to the building, making it appear smaller than it really is.
