Exhibition of the building 111 (Sala Picasso)
On Monday 11th of April the exhibition “111 crossed sights. The social dimension of housing” was opened at Sala Picasso of COAC in Barcelona. This was an approximation of the building 111 (located in Terrassa, Barcelona) of Flores & Prats Architects. Flores & Prats propose that the future of collective housing places neighbours to relate to each other, not isolate them. 111 crossed sights are the ones proposed by this building that intends to dissolve the limits between the public and the private domains.
At the opening, the architect Manuel de Solà-Morales presented the urban plan in which this building is located, and Eva Prats and Ricardo Flores gave a lecture called “The social dimension of housing”. The exhibition will be on until the 12th of May. For the closing, on the 9th of May, there will be interventions of the artist Miralda, the chef Montse Guillén and the dramaturge Toni Casares.
