Beginning of Construction: Théâtre des Variétés, Brussels

13th September 2024

On the site of the former Théâtre Variétés in Brussels, on the occasion of the start of work on the Variétés, the foundation stone was laid as a symbolic act that marks the beginning of the renovation works on a site full of history, and one that will be writing its own in the years to come. The event was organized by Labo-Chantier Variétés and Bruxelles Laïque, and attended by the Mayor of Brussels, journalists, politicians, and cultural representatives from the city. Renovation work is expected to continue until 2027, when the inauguration is scheduled to take place.
