Urban Plan in Santa Coloma de Cervelló
The ordinance of this industrial area will be the New façade of Santa Coloma de Cervelló towards the Llobregat basin.
Given the rugged topography of the site and the built environment around it, the arrangement separates the two main uses: Industry and housing in two different areas.
The industrial zone combines two different heights to access the naves, thus responding to the rugged terrain topography. The trees planted in the parking areas will be the protagonists of the new facade as the volumes of the naves.
The residential area continues along the lines of the housing buildings along the torrent that are already in construction. It is anticipated that the location of the new blocks will define the continuation of the park along the Torrent, and finish off the lines of the railroad with a sport courts zone.
