‘111 Mirades Creuades’ closing exhibition for the building 111 at Terressa
The closing event of the exhibition 111 Miradas Cruzadas (111 viewpoints), about the Building 111 in Terrassa, took place on Monday the 9th May 2011. For this event there were lectures from Toni Casares, dramaturge and director of Sala Beckett theatre of Barcelona, the artist Miralda, and Flores and Prats. The talks and later debate were centred on the different views they all have on common subjects, such as how to connect different social groups, the value of the process, and the inseparability of the creative and working processes. The aim of the debate was to see how different disciplines (art, theatre and architecture) could see the same matters from different points of view. The event ended with a celebration and a taste-menu prepared by the architects themselves in collaboration with Miralda and the Chef Montse Guillén. The menu consisted of preparing cones (related to the pine trees that surround the building 111) filled with different types of food, one for each participant.
